the co-active coaching model, it is assumed the client holds the
answers -- the coach merely asks the questions. The coach is not the
expert, who gives the client knowledge. Instead, the nonjudgmental coach
evokes knowledge. Clients discover what they want, what motivates
them and what holds them back. They may never have looked for the
answers before the coach asked the questions that lead to
self-discovery. Clients who find their own answers follow through with
action to realize their dreams. The client/coach relationship is a
recharging place where clients access the energy they need to
overcome the hurdles in their lives.
